Let’s assume there’s something that makes you a less desirable candidate . Maybe you are inexperienced , yo’ve never worked before, or you didn’t get along with your last boss. When you are applying for a new job, you may be asked about these problems. Perhaps you took a year off from school because you were depressed and flunking three subjects. The interviewer may say,” I see you have a year that’s not accounted for on your resume . Can you explain this to me? How can you without soundinglike a liability?

It’s simple . Just say that you took a year off to think about your goals in life. Emphasize that it was valuable experience that made you more aware of your priorities . This is an honest and positive statement . Most interviewers would respect you more for it.
